Inspired by the long, full life of the late Mary Taaffe, farm instructor, writer, mother, we are in conversation with three West Cork based women: Caroline Good, Mary-Rose O Donovan and Marie Walsh.

These women have worked for much of the 20th century, and continue to work, in various aspects of food and hospitality while rearing families and living life to the full. How have they done it with aplomb when so many others find it near impossible to do so?

Join us on Saturday 5th February at 5pm in Urru, Bandon, to enjoy the company of these characterful women as part of Bandon's St. Brigid's Day celebrations.

A light tea-time plate will be served.
